How Kennon Schedules Production
Every cover is custom built. Kennon has one of the largest production staffs in the business and probably the most experienced. Every morning we meet to determine who is working on what. We post orders on a production board so that your order is always visible. An order for a specific type of cover that is placed today will be built before a similar cover is built if it is ordered tomorrow.
Rush Orders
Sometimes customers need a cover in a hurry. We could move the order in front of others but that wouldn't be fair. It is not our custom to make promises that we can't keep and then later make excuses. Instead, rush orders are assigned to staff who agree to work overtime. Before we accept a rush order we line up a qualified worker to work overtime. If we can accept a rush, there is a 10% rush charge to cover the overtime expense. But at least you can have your cover on the day you want it. That we will commit to you. It is important to us to treat customers fairly and not to make promises that we can't keep and then later make excuses.
We try very hard to meet our production forecast, sometimes things happen beyond our control such as illness or personal emergencies. Our forecasts are only estimates. We believe that along with an excellent product, you expect excellent service. We encourage you to email or call us at anytime to check on the status of your order. We will update our production forecasts at least once a week.
Thank you. |
